Winners Salver
played for at our Spring Event
|
The Winners Salver started in 1996 having transfered from H.S.S.G.S. It is held at the first Stableford event of the year and only open to the previous year's individual winners. There could be a maximum of eight eligible, the winners of the two Stabelford Trophy events, the Eclectic Stableford, the Medal, the Matchplay, the Winter Stableford, the Championship and the Winners Salver. The top placed of all those eligible in the Stableford round is the winner. John Fish follows in his brother's footsteps for his first Salver win. |

Novices Shield
Spring & Autumn Events
| The Novices Shield also transferred from HSSGS in 1996. This is played for in conjunction with the two Stableford Trophy competitions in May & September. It is only open to Novices, those with no previous individual wins in the Society. The other stipulation is that the player must be placed in the top 5, but not first! There are currently only a small handful of those eligible and its not always won. |

Anniversary Stableford

| To mark the Society's tenth anniversary, the Summer 97 event was primarily held at the Belfry. Two rounds were played there, one on the Famous Brabazon course and one on the Derby course for our two-round competition. To mark such a special occasion as to play the testing Brabazon course, a competition was also staged for this single round only. |
