An excellent venue for a trip away. We again stayed for two
night in the Dormy house at Seaford golf club. We kicked off as usual with a curry
in town.
36-hole Stableford - Seaford G.C.
In the tightest of finishes Rob Dyson beat Mark Staples
on the countback with both players scoring 62 for the 2 rounds. Mark led
after the morning round on 33 but could only manage 29 in the
afternoon. Rob showed just a little more consistency with rounds of 32
and 30.
Steve Watson scored the best afternoon round on 32 and third overall
pipping Pammi Channa on the countback with both on 59.
Medal - Seaford Head G.C.

Another good scoring Medal at Seaford Head saw five players
shoot below handicap. Dave Cooper on his first summer trip was the
winner and the 15 handicapper finished with a net 66 (-5). Nearest rivals
were Peter Miles net 67 and the lowest gross of 80 and Ian Pearce net
69. An excellent municipal course - and well worth the trip.
