Rob Dyson pipped Mark Staples to win his first Summer Stableford. Mark had the best morning score on 33 with Rob a point behind and Dave Cooper next on 30. Steve Watson scored the best afternoon round on 32 to push him up to third overall. Pammi Channa and Richard Walsh both scored 31. Rob's 30 as against Mark's 29 was enough to give Rob victory on the countback. |

| It seemed that maybe the last three ball would contain the winner as Peter Miles and Ian Pearce both played great golf to shoot -4 and -2 respectively, peter scoring the lowest gross round of the day. But it was newcomer Dave Cooper who stole the show. The Purley Downs golfer shot a net -5 and his round contained 2 birdies and 6 pars. | |
