As in previous years, snow the week before had put this
event in some doubt. Despite some very wet bunkers the course was
playable.

Just three players scored well in the
difficult conditions, all scoring 32 pts. Society Organiser Steve Watson
won the members Stableford by four points, including a regulation 22
over the last 11 holes. Guests Steve Martin & Reg Salkilld also shot
the same, with Steve winning the top guest on the countback. Ian Cooper
and Richard Walsh took the other member's podium positions. Ian Pearce
took the booby prize with six blobs.
In the bowmaker Steve W & Reg assisted by Graham Harris scored 70
beating the Walsh/Martin/Fish team by just one point. |
