Paul Jeanes won his second Stableford Trophy with a level handicap
score of 36 points to win it on the countback. The eleven handicapper
notched up eleven pars in his round with an 18/18 split. It was Steve
Martin who just missed out, with a 21/15 split, but a good first outing
for our newest member. Third place also went to the countback with three
scores on 33. John Fish finished third on the back six from Ian Pearce
(4th) and Steve Watson (5th). This also gave John the Winners Salver as
the best placed from all last years individual winners. John made it three
wins with the closest at the Nearest-the-pin hole. Furthest was Mark
Staples and he won the Longest-Drive competition.
