2003 Matchplay Knockout 

Steve Watson made if four final wins from five beating Barry Hough. Despite playing at home, Steve was behind from the first, losing to Barry's par, and gain after the losing the fourth to another par. The fifth was halved in birdies but Barry won the seventh with a shot. Steve got it back to one at the ninth but then Barry won the tenth to be two up. The next two were halved, so Barry led by two after 12 holes. But then Steve hit a purple patch and won the next four all with pars, having led for the first time after 15. At dormey two, Barry could only halve the 17th to give Steve a 2 & 1 victory.
