2001 Matchplay Knockout

Golfer Gary Pitt won the 2001 matchplay in the tightest ever final held at Selsdon Park on 22nd August. Both players led at some stage although Gary led for more of the game. Barry just missed out on puts on two of the last three holes and the players were all square after 18 holes. It was Gary who won the par five first extra hole.
